Description:
Depart your hotel for River City Pier, then cruise along the Chao Phraya River on a James Bond Boat (long-tailed speed boat) and observe colourful local life, traditional houses and exotic temples. A stop can be made at the Temple of Dawn, Wat Arun, whose central prang (Khmer-style tower) is one of the most majestic landmarks of Bangkok. Cross the river by ferry to tranquil Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. Inside is a grand and most beautiful reclining Buddha image, over 40 metres long and 15 metres high, entirely covered with precious gold. The massive feet of the Buddha statue are inlaid with intricate mother-of-pearl.
